About Dmitry Milkin

Dmitry Milkin is a Bay Area Writer/Director and photographer. Dmitry won the Best Writer digital series award at the prestigious 2024 SeriesFest for his independent pilot Good Guy with a Pun. His multi-award winning animated short "Curpigeon" was an official selection at 32 film festivals around the globe, including the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival. Dmitry’s writing has garnered multiple honors from Hollyshorts Screenwriting competition, Screencraft Film Fund, and Cinequest. He immigrated to America as a Jewish political refugee from the Soviet Union. He now lives in Marin County with his wife and son.
